Community Outreach
SID provided services
on supporting federal agencies in processing complaints of
discrimination, measuring and reporting CR performance, maintaining
a comprehensive system of accountability, managing and measuring
plans such as United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) ’s
Affirmative Employment Plans, analyzing and reporting on workforce
trends, and assessing compliance with statues, executive orders,
regulations and directives. SID also provided support on responding
to public and private inquiries.
SID also supported the USAF Public Affairs Office in support of the
Aviation Events Support program, including:

We responded to requests for
aviation events, such as fly-overs, from the public.

We received
inquiries through e-mail, regular mail, web and by telephone and
responds to these requests in a timely fashion (within 48 hours),
and tracked all inquiries for statistical reports and analysis.

We
used Microsoft office products to track compliance and performance
on this task. |

We also collected performance and customer
satisfaction metrics of the operations to measure the level and
quality of support. The metrics analyzed include the number of
requests and inquiries received and recorded in the tracking
databases, tracking requests and inquiries from receipt to
completion, time required to complete a response to the requests,
results of QA of draft responses, and feedback from people making
the requests and inquiries. This assessment defined performance
metrics for SID resources. |
