Systems Integration and Development (SID) Receives GoToMeeting Software Licenses Contract Award under NOAALink

Systems Integration and Development (SID), one of five small businesses awarded the NOAALink indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, has announced it has been awarded the GoToMeeting Software Licenses contract under the NOAALink IDIQ. This award has a three year performance period for the provision of licenses, maintenance, support, and upgrades for Citrix GoToMeeting with GoToWebinar licenses.
The GoToMeeting Software Licenses contract enables the National Weather Service (NWS) to have flexible licensing for web conferencing between NWS and its partners in the emergency management community. This capability helps the NWS to achieve its mission in a cost effective manner. Services under this contract include the ability to conduct briefings where participants can share desktops and participate in presentations, the ability to conduct live meetings and training sessions including allowing remote desktop control, the ability to interactively collaborate on documents, and the ability to record presentations and meetings for later distribution.
SID has been providing technology and services solutions as a prime contractor to NOAA since 1999. SID’s technology and services provide NOAA with instant access to information about mission status, thus enhancing readiness and safety. With this contract award, SID is able to expand its support of NOAA’s strategic approach to collaboration by providing rich collaborative interactions to internal and external NOAA constituents. Through unlimited monthly access to web-based collaboration sessions, SID delivers business value by enabling a comprehensive computing environment for dynamic data and information sharing across governmental, business, scientific, and academic communities.
