Software Engineering and Application Development       

SID’s software engineering competency extends to designing, building, upgrading, operating, and maintaining software systems. We establish and use systematic, disciplined, and quantifiable engineering approaches and best practices to develop, operate, and maintain software that is reliable, easy to maintain, and easy to deploy and manage. 

SID has developed many applications using highly adaptive and flexible processes that meet the requirements of our customers, and also helped operate at SEI CMMI Level 2 /CMM Level 3.  We use cutting-edge technologies, tools, and processes to make our customers' strategic visions a reality.

This work involves:

	Software engineering for web-enabled, real-time, tracking and  data warehousing systems in the administrative, financial, logistics, and telecommunications domains
	Provide full life cycle software engineering support using Java, Visual C++, C#, VisualBasic, ColdFusion and other tools and languages
	Development of custom solutions using a variety of relational database management systems, such as Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Informix, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Access, and other 4GL systems
	Applications including advanced features such as electronic commerce and knowledge management
	Develop applications in J2EE and .net environment using Java applets, XML, SOAP, HTML, graphical user interface (GUI, and tools such as FrontPage, ColdFusion, DreamWeaver, and other leading website development tools
	Provide Section 508 compliance to developed software
